My piece of flash fiction 'In Those Days' is to be published online by Reflex Fiction, probably next week.
The two Stroud Theatre Festival gigs at the Ale House seemed to go well. They were called 'Philip and John's Medium-sized Nights Out' and were done jointly with Philip Douch.
Friday 29 Sept I read 'The Hero' and 'The Night Ape'. About 20 people attended.
Saturday 30 September I read 'Da' and a range of flash fiction - How to Improve Productivity, In Those Days, Islands, Boyfriends, Birth, Kate Adie is 69, A Hot Summer's Day, The First Time at Her Place. This gig was sold out - 25 people.
The next Stroud Short Stories event, entitled 'All You Need Is Love. Or is it?', is on Sunday 5 November at 8pm (doors 7.30) at the SVA Stroud.

I will be reading at least one of the pieces of flash fiction being published in the 2017 Worcestershire Literature Festival Flash Fiction Anthology in Worcester on 12 November. The venue is the Drummonds Bar, The Swan with Two Necks at 4pm on Sunday 12 Nov 2017.
The event, with Philip Douch, is called 'Philip and John's Medium-sized Night Out'. It's at the Ale House in John Street, Stroud at 8pm on Fri 29 Sept and 6pm on Sat 30 Sept 2017.
