I am delighted to say that my new 500 word story ‘The Winner’, which I wrote at the recent online flash fiction workshop run by Ken Elkes, has been accepted for publication by the online journal Ellipsis Zine. It will appear on 22 April 2020.

Because of the Coronavirus pandemic, the SSS event DISRUPTION dedicated to the late Stroud author Rick Vick will take place on Sunday 8 November. It will start at 7.30 with doors/bar at 7.00. Tickets will be available later in the year from the Cotswold Playhouse website.

Stroud Short Stories is open for submissions on the theme of DISRUPTION. We close on 8 March. The event, which is our 20th, is dedicated to the late Rick Vick. It will take place at the Cotswold Playhouse at 7.30pm on Sunday 19 April.
Tickets are on sale from the Playhouse website from 20 March.

The 19th Stroud Short Stories event ‘Mazurka & Other Stories’ has sold out. That’s the 14th time in succession. And this for the 150-seater Cotswold Playhouse.
